FARIS International stocks all rubber flat style drill stem wipers. These rubber wipers (without steel reinforcing rings) have pre-cut center holes to fit your drill stem size. Also available Flat Wiper with Steel Ring, Dual Wiper, and Dual Split Wiper. The Split Wiper allows you to insert the wiper around the drill pipe while in operation. The Dual Wiper is molded as a single unit to provide flexible, double wiping lip on drill strings where oversize tool joints and protectors are used. The Dual Split Wiper incorporates the advantages of both the split and dual wiper.
Drill Pipe Wipers are made of specially designed rubber compound having tremendous resistance to cutting, tearing and abrasion. They are available for water based and oil based drilling mud. Designed for application to Drill Pipe where a solid master bushing is used.
We supply both Dual Split and Single Solid Type of Drill Pipe Wipers, Dual wipers are made with a spring steel reinforced ring. The split in the dual wipers allow the wiper to be threaded easily onto the pipe.
Our split type wipers offer the advantage of a symmetrical, one piece design with multiple wiping action. It provides more than two full turns of continuous wiping surface around the full circumference of the pipe. Unlike split type wipers, there are no gaps, in the inner wiping edge to leave streaks on the pipe.
